Book Cake

For my grandfather's 80th birthday (3/31/2009), we made a cake that looks like a book. It's kind of hard to tell it in the pictures but the cake is taller than it appears and on the sides, we raked the homemade buttercream icing to make it look like pages of a book. We did a book because he *loves* to read.
