The previous post was my final cake in class #3. This is Mom's final cake in class #3. I love how she used the loopy bow too and made ribbons and bows. This cake looks like a gift! Great job Mom!
Welcome to our Late Night Cakes Blog! Several years ago, when both of my daughters were diagnosed with severe peanut allergies and it was just too risky to eat cakes from a bakery, Mom and I started baking their birthday cakes. We bake them whatever they want and our cakes are anything but boring. Usually they aren't just regular flat cakes, they take on dimension! While our baking together began as a necessity, it has blossomed into a hobby we love and we have such fun when we're baking! It seems like there's a story behind every cake, so this won't be just a picture blog as I'll be telling some of those stories. Enjoy our blog and check back often. Bon appetit!
My blog is all about sharing bits of my life and family. I'm Sherry, wife to wonderful husband Randy, Mommy to Mallory and Lindsey. Some of my passions in life are...homeschooling our two daughters, spending time with my family, gardening, making homemade pickles and salsa, baking way-cool birthday cakes with Mom, boating and fishing, traveling, and reading. Isaiah 40:31 is one of my favorite Bible verses. I have lots of favorites but this is my current favorite. Enjoy my blog and come back soon!
