Ballet Slippers Cake

For Mallory's 9th birthday (4/29/2009) we made a ballet slippers cake. It was two layers with the ballet slippers being the top layer. We piped homemade buttercream frosting over the entire cake. This was actually the second time she requested this cake, being the ballerina that she is, and it was easier the second time!
