Transformer Cake

Okay I know nothing about Transformers, but Mom - being the great MeMe that she is... made this Transformer cake for Ethan's birthday! Great job Mom! She even made the cake BLUE! Very cool :)

Chase's graduation cakes

My little brother Chase graduated high school! We are so proud of him, congratulations Chase!
Here are his cakes...

They turned out pretty good :) The "book cakes" are 13 x 9 chocolate cakes, slightly offset to make them look like school books. Then a round cake tops them off for the bottom of the graduation cap. The square top of the cap is just cakeboard covered with frosting. I got the tassle from the craft store. The frosting was all homemade buttercream, chocolate, white, and blue tinted. On the white edges of the books, I took a butter knife and scored the icing to make it look like pages. Congratulations Chase!
